PMU Branch of Uralchem JSC in Perm is one of the largest producers of nitrogen fertilisers in the Urals and Western Siberia.

The plant was built in 1981 and was originally an organisational subdivision of the State Enterprise "Production Union "Permnefteorgsintez". The Toyo Engineering Corporation (TEC) of Japan supplied the core technological equipment. On 1 January, 1992 the enterprise became an independent state company "Mineral Fertilizer Plant", on 19 November, 1992 it was transformed into a Joint Stock Company called "Perm Mineral Fertilizers". On August 1, 2017 Perm Mineral Fertilizers, JSC was reorganized through a merger with URALCHEM, JSC. Assets, rights and undertakings of Perm Mineral Fertilizers, JSC were transferred to PMU Branch of URALCHEM, JSC in Perm.

Riga Fertilizer Terminal, LLC (RFT) is the most advanced and safest terminal in Northern Europe for transshipment and temporary storage of bulk fertilizers. The terminal was commissioned in 2013. RFT is a joint venture founded by URALCHEM Freight Limited and Riga Commercial Port, LLC (SIA Rīgas tirdzniecības osta, RTO). URALCHEM Freight Limited owns 51% of the RFT’s stock; RTO – 49%. The terminal’s phase 1 capacity is 2 million tons of bulk cargo a year.
Ventamonjaks is the largest liquid ammonia transshipment terminal in the Baltic Sea with an annual capacity of 1 million tons located in the ice-free port of Ventspils. The terminal was built in 1973 and has the state-of-the-art infrastructure and equipment. Three deep-water berths can accommodate vessels of 60,000 dwt. Uninterrupted operation of the terminal makes it possible to handle up to 250 railway tanks a day.
