Moscow, Russia – 21 January, 2009 – URALCHEM, OJSC, (“the Company” or “URALCHEM”), one of the largest producers of nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers in Russia and the CIS, today announced the results of the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting of Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers, OJSC which took place on 21 January, 2009.

The shareholders approved the decision to terminate early the powers of the members of the Board of Directors of Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers, OJSC.

The shareholders elected the following members to the Board of Directors of Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers, OJSC:  

1. Anton V. Vishanenko;
2. Mikhail V. Genkin;
3. Andrey V. Ermizin;
4. Dmitry V. Osipov;
5. Vitaliy V. Saraev;
6. Alexander I. Sukimskiy;
7. Dimitry V. Tatyanin;
8. Marina Y. Trusova;
9. Murad M. Chaparov.
