Moscow, Russia – 14 December, 2012. On December 13, URALCHEM-TRANS Ltd (part of the URALCHEM Group) celebrated its fifth anniversary.

URALCHEM-TRANS was established in 2007 to provide external and internal rail logistics for the holding. Over time, in addition to freight forwarding, the company has taken over the functions of preparation of freight cars for loading, carrying out their maintenance and all types of repairs. Currently, branches of URALCHEM-TRANS ensure an uninterrupted supply of raw materials to the factories manufacturing mineral fertilizers, as well as transporting the finished products.

Today, URALCHEM-TRANS has five branches, four of them are located at the production facilities in Kirovo-Chepetsk, Berezniki, Voskresensk and Perm, The fifth is a car repair depot in Murashi.

URALCHEM-TRANS has arrived at its fifth anniversary with impressive results. The managed car fleet increased from 3,000 units at the end of 2007 to 8,500 by the end of 2012. During the same period, the volume of cargo transported by the URALCHEM Group has risen from 3 million tons to 7 million tons per year and totalled 25.5 million tons for five years.

URALCHEM-TRANS has a large and modern inventory of rolling-stock, consisting of mineral fertilizer cars, gondola cars, box cars and tanks. With its modern repair base, the company demonstrates high levels of speed and quality in filling orders. This has been achieved through modernization of rolling-stock and equipment, improvement of the quality of customer interaction, improvement of the supply system and the use of reliable and qualified personnel.
