Uralchem and Uralkali are Organisers of the Russian Health & Safety Conference
Uralchem and Uralkali became organisers of the “Risks and Safety” national health and safety conference, which opened today at Uralkali’s Cultural Centre in Solikamsk.
The three-day event was organised with support from the Perm Region’s Ministry of Labour and Social Development, the Western Urals Department of Rostekhnadzor (the national technical watchdog), the State Labour Inspectorate, and the Perm Regional Department of Rospotrebnadzor (the national consumer safety supervision body).
The opening remarks were made by the head of the labour department of the Minister of Labour and Social Development Andrey Petrov and Uralkali’s Deputy CEO — Technical Director Eduard Smirnov. Among the speakers are the head of the occupational health supervision unit of Rospotrebnadzor’s Perm Regional department Tatyana Ivanova, who made a presentation about preservation of life and health of employees in the Perm Region.
The venue gathered around 100 health and safety experts representing regional governmental and supervisory agencies, Russian industrial leaders, research institutions, trade unions and non-governmental organisations.
During the conference meetings, delegates will be discussing their experience in improving safety culture, preventing injuries, and protecting employee health.
