The total production output of URALCHEM grew by 6% in the first nine months of 2017
According to the results for nine months of 2017, the output of commercial products by URALCHEM’s plants amounted to 4.7 million tonnes, which is a 6% increase year-on-year.
An increase in the output of ammonia and urea was due to more stable operation of the equipment and a reduction in the time required for major repairs. Higher output of complex fertilizers is a result of the redirection of VMF’s capacities, previously aimed at the production of phosphate fertilizers, the output of which decreased, respectively. An increase in the output of other chemical products is explained by higher production volumes of calcium nitrate at KCCW Branch after the commissioning of new capacities in Q3 2016.
