The total production output of URALCHEM grew by 4% in the first half of 2017
According to the results of the first half of 2017, the commercial output across URALCHEM Group companies amounted to 3.2 million tonnes, which represents a 4% year-on-year increase.
The decrease of 25,000 tonnes in the output of ammonium nitrate and its derivatives is associated with the shift from the manufacture of ammonium nitrate and calcium ammonium nitrate to nitrophosphate and sulphonitrate, respectively. These products have a lower daily production rate than ammonium nitrate and ammonium nitrate lime. Urea production grew by 51,000 tonnes (9.2%) after the completion of the refurbishment at Azot Branch and PMF. In the first half of 2017, the Company also produced an extra 119,000 tonnes (34%) of complex fertilizers.
