Uralkali is one of the world’s leading producers and exporters of potash, which is a crucial element for the growth and development of all living organisms and which does not have any natural or artificial substitutes. Uralchem’s KCKK Branch in Kirovo-Chepetsk is one of the largest fertiliser plants in Russia. Currently, the plant makes around 20 different grades of mineral fertilisers including ammonium nitrate, stabilised ammonium nitrate, calcium ammonium nitrate with sulphur, sulphonitrate, several types of calcium nitrate, and a range of NPK and NPKS complex fertilisers.

The Azot Branch of Uralchem is the only Russian producer of higher aliphatic amines, sodium nitrate, and crystalline sodium nitrite.

The main products of Azot are ammonium nitrate, ammonia aqueous solution, ammonia water, urea, nitric acid, and nitrite/nitrate salts. The branch was one of the first Russian mineral fertiliser producers to register its products under the REACH regulation to officially confirm its right to exports to the European Union.

The VMF Branch of Uralchem is located in Voskresensk, Moscow Region, and is one of the largest Russian facilities producing phosphorus-containing fertilisers, and phosphoric and sulphuric acids.

The plant's key products are nitrogen-phosphorus (NP) and nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium (NPK) fertilisers, which are suitable for all soil types and are used in cultivation of various crops. VMF also produces phosphoric and sulphuric acids of different grades.

The Perm Mineral Fertilisers (PMF) Branch of Uralchem is located in Perm and is one of the largest producers of nitrogen fertilisers in the Urals and Western Siberia regions of Russia.

The plants produces anhydrous liquefied ammonia (grades A and Ak), urea (grades A and B).

GEO NPK is a producer of complex mineral fertilisers. The plant currently offers 13 different fertiliser grades but has plans to expand the product range up to 100 formulations for specific crops, soils and climate conditions. The technology allows for customised products and flexible changes between grades. In addition to production facilities, GEO NPK’s site also includes a fertiliser storage and two access railway tracks.

Uralchem-Trans LLC is a specialised logistics arm of Uralchem. The entity has necessary infrastructure to deliver raw materials and ship finished products by rail. 

Uralchem-Trans LLC manages a fleet of around 21,980 specialised and universal wagons including mineral wagons, gondola wagons, covered wagons and tank wagons for ammonia and various acids.

Uralchem Trading House is responsible for sales of Uralchem’s products in Russia and the CIS.

Among Uralchem’s priorities is an uninterruptible supply of mineral fertilisers to domestic agricultural producers. The trading arm has offices in Moscow, Voskresensk (Moscow Region), Kirovo-Chepetsk (Kirov Region) and Berezniki (Perm Region), and also operates 55 partner sites which store and sell Uralchem’s mineral fertilisers across Russia.



Uralchem’s United Service Centre (USC) Branch in Perm is a multi-functional facility, which was created to centralise some of Uralchem’s non-core and routine processes through unification, optimisation and digitisation. The branch was established in 2013 and today supports more than 60 legal entities of Uralchem with over 100 different services in finance, HR, and procurement.
