MOSCOW, June 20, 2016 – URALCHEM participated in the Twentieth St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2016) as official partner.
The joint booth of URALCHEM and Uralkali provided current information about the companies and their products. In the conference areas, the Forum participants were able to meet with representatives of URALCHEM and Uralkali. The delegations of both companies included Dmitry Mazepin, the Chairman of URALCHEM Board of Directors, Deputy Chairman of Uralkali Board of Directors, and Dmitry Konyaev and Dmitry Osipov, CEOs of the companies.
At the booth visitors could test the interactive multimedia desk, which offered full scope of information about the companies and their products, including a new fertilizer line introduced by URALCHEM.
The forum also featured a new software product, the Agronomist application. This software for iOS and Android mobile devices allows users to calculate the mineral requirements of key crops. The Agronomist indicates the demand for macro- and meso-elements based on the desired yield. A user can see information about the key elements, their content in particular fertilizers, and the volumes that have to be applied for best results.
“St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is a key event for Russian business life. Top public officials and representatives of major international companies attend the Forum every year. Uralchem has always followed innovations, being interested in the development of cooperation with traditional partners and establishing new business contacts. We were pleased to be among the Forum participants and are satisfied with the results,” said Dmitry Konyaev, Chief Executive Officer of URALCHEM JSC.
