On December 13, URALCHEM-TRANS Ltd (part of the URALCHEM Group) celebrated its fifth anniversary.

URALCHEM and a leading Latvian charity organization, the Ziedot.lv Fund, held New Year activities and events for a group of physically challenged children in Latvia and members of their families.

URALCHEM OJSC announces operating results for the first 9 months of 2012. Production from all the enterprises of the URALCHEM Group increased by 0.5% compared to the same period in 2011, amounting to a total of 4.398 million tonnes.

In the Kirov region of Russia, URALCHEM starts its "URALCHEM for Large Families” social support campaign. Within it,70 low-income families that have many children will receive a Lada-Granta car as a gift from URALCHEM.

URALCHEM and a leading charitable organization of Latvia, the Ziedot.lv Foundation, have agreed to cooperate to help physically challenged children who need specific treatment or rehabilitation in leading Russian clinics. URALCHEM will provide funding for the hospitalization and treatment of children to the amount of 80 thousand Euros. A corresponding agreement has been signed today by URALCHEM CEO Dmitry Konyaev and Manager of the Ziedot.lv Foundation Ruta Dimanta.

Please note that in August 2012 fraudulent letters (emails) with an offer to buy URALCHEM products were mailed out by unknown individuals. Those letters may have been sent on behalf of URALCHEM HOLDING P.L.C. through uralchem.spb.ru domain.

In the first half of 2012 the enterprises of the URALCHEM Group paid a total of almost 3 billion roubles in taxes and social insurance payments at all levels.
