Potassium nitrate
Potassium nitrate is a water-soluble chlorine-free nitrogen-potassium fertilizer that contains 13% of N and 46% of K2O. It can be applied in fall on phosphorus- abundant soils (over 150 mg Р2О5/kg of soil), or on winter grain-crops. This fertilizer is most effective when applied on protected ground and by irrigation, to force ripening, as well as to increase the resistance of plants to unfavorable influence of the environment.
Potassium nitrate is the best fertilizer for crops grown on protected ground, fruits, flowers, potatoes, and other chlorine-sensitive crops. It is the best fertilizer for house plants.
