URALCHEM delivers first shipment of stabilized ammonia nitrate to the United Kingdom

Moscow, Russia – March 16, 2010 – URALCHEM, OJSC, (“the Company” or “URALCHEM”), one of the largest producers of nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers in Russia and the CIS, today announced that it has successfully delivered its first shipment of stabilized ammonia nitrate (ammonium phosphate nitrate NP 33:3) to the United Kingdom. From November 2009, UralChem shipped approximately 100,000 tonnes of nitrogen fertilizers to the European markets.  

Note:

Stabilized ammonia nitrate (ammonium phosphate nitrate NP 33:3) is a complex nitrogen and phosphate fertilizer with nitrogen and phosphorus used in a form which can be easily absorbed. The nitrogen content in ammonium and nitrate is 52% and 48%, respectively. This product is non-combustible and easy to use. NP 33:3 is an effective formula for use in fertilizing all types of crops and soils. It is characterised by high absorbency of nitrogen and phosphorus, increased granular resistance, good friability, fluidity and homogeneous granular grading.
