In order to comply with high ecological standards,
the company is pursuing the natural resources
use and environmental safety policy providing for a complex
of activities aimed at a gradual reduction
of the present environmental stress and securing environmental
safety throughout the production process.
This policy is based on the following principles:
- Compliance of production activities with the requirements
and standards set by law;
- Serving the interests of both business and society
while developing and implementing the investments policy
to achieve harmonious exploitation of natural resources
and ecologically safe production by industry reconstruction
and technical upgrade;
- Regular multilevel intracorporate monitoring of the effects
on the environment
Taking all this into consideration, the Company’s
activities with regard to the use of natural resources
are aimed at putting into operation modern technological
equipment and systems for emissions and drains control,
utilization of industrial wastes and restoration
of the sites where they were located.
In the coming years the Company is planning
to make considerable investments for these purposes.
